The Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts (BOPA) invites artists, students, organizations and community members, who wish to create or support public art projects to an information session on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 6-8pm at the CC Jackson Recreation Center at 4910 Park Heights Ave, Baltimore, MD  21215. During this session, representatives from BOPA will share information about BOPA’s upcoming community art grant opportunities. The purpose of this information session is to connect with artists, residents and stakeholders from the Park Heights, Liberty Heights and Garrison communities, but all communities are welcome to attend. The session will feature a presentation by BOPA staff followed by artists/organizations who will talk about what made their local art projects successful. After the presentation there will be a designated question and answer portion with artists and BOPA staff.

The Baltimore Office of Promotion &The Arts is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization which serves as Baltimore City’s arts council, film office, and events agency. By producing large-scale events such as Light City, Artscape and the Baltimore Book Festival, and providing funding and support to artists, arts programs and organizations across the city, BOPA’s goal is to make Baltimore a more vibrant and creative city.
