Event Details

Nicholas Hersh, conductor

BSO Pulse is back for the fourth season — bringing together the worlds of classical music and indie artists onto one stage! Each concert crosses genres, opening with a classical performance by members of the BSO, a set from our featured artist and culminating with a unique collaboration between the two groups.

Singer and multi-instrumentalist Rhiannon Giddens has taken the folk world by storm, winning a Grammy for Best Traditional Folk album with The Carolina Chocolate Drops and receiving critical acclaim for her solo career. Hear the 2017 MacArthur “Genius Grant” winner who is revitalizing decades of American roots music with invigorating style.

Enjoy a pre-concert party with music from Caleb Stine, happy hour drink specials and food from our favorite Baltimore spots.
