BlackRock Center for the Arts invites woodturners and sculptors to submit entries for HANDCRAFTED,

a biennial turned wood exhibition juried this year by Dr. Barbara Wolanin a curator and collector who served for 30 years as Curator for the Architect of the Capitol in Washington, DC. The exhibition is dedicated to highlighting the work of artists and fine craft artisans from across the Mid-Atlantic Region (defined as MD, DC, VA, DE, PA, and WV) who use traditional and/or non-traditional woodturning methods on the lathe to create functional, sculptural and innovative turnings which demonstrate the wide range of forms which can be achieved on a rotating axis.


ELIGIBILTIY: Resident of MD, DC, VA, PA, DE, or WV. Must be over age 18.

DEADLINE: JANUARY 19, 2020 (online submission by 11:59 pm EST)

ENTRY FEE: $25 (for up to 4 pieces per entry)
