Buffalo Creek Art Center is a summer artist residency for three-dimensional artists in metal, wood, ceramic and multi- media with an emphasis on aesthetics and craftsmanship. Starting June 1 and ending October 30 artists can select a 4,6 or 8 week stay. Artists will be given free room and workspace and use of all the equipment. This unique 34- acre property includes a vineyard, fruit orchards, 10 ponds, a miniature train station and hiking trails. Artists will live in a four bedroom ranch style house with separate bedrooms and a common kitchen. The 4000 square foot studio workshop will have all the necessary equipment for welding, wood carving, ceramics and other forms of three-dimensional work and room for large-scale sculptures. One of the train station buildings serves as a gallery for periodic art shows.
There is no fee for this residency program.
