Vox Populi is accepting submissions for VOX XIV – our fourteenth annual juried exhibition of emerging artists which will take place July 13th – August 5th, 2018.
The deadline for the open call is
Sunday, May 15, 2018 at midnight (11:59 pm)
Applicants may submit up to five works in any media.
Application fee:  $35

This opportunity is particularly for emerging artists without commercial representation who push boundaries in terms of form and content, employ alternative methodologies and want to expose their practice to new audiences. Vox Populi is interested in highlighting work in all media that is ambitious, timely and risk-taking.
About this year’s juror, Didier William:
Originally from Port-au-prince Haiti, Didier William received his BFA in painting from The Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA in painting and printmaking from Yale University School of Art. His work has been exhibited at the Bronx Museum of Art, The Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, The Fraenkel Gallery, Frederick and Freiser Gallery, and The American Academy of Arts and Letters. He was an artist in residence at the Marie Walsh Sharpe Art Foundation in Brooklyn, NY and has taught at Yale School of Art, Vassar College, Columbia University, and SUNY Purchase. His work has been reviewed by Hyperallergic, TwoCoats of Paint, The La Times, and the New York Times. He is currently Associate Professor of Art and the Chair of the MFA Program at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia.
