Join the fight against hunger by volunteering at Artscape this year! Artscape, America’s largest free arts festival has teamed up with the Maryland Food Bank to have volunteers serve beverages and collect donations at this year’s festival, taking place July 15-17, 2016 in Baltimore. Volunteer opportunities are still available. Those interested in volunteering should contact Lindsay Machak at the Maryland Food Bank for more information.

Artscape returns to Baltimore on Friday, July 15 and Saturday, July 16 from 11am to 9pm and Sunday, July 17from 11am to 8pm on Mount Royal Avenue and North Charles Street.  The theme for this year’s Artscape is “Space: Explore What’s Out There,” which is incorporated throughout the festival’s visual and performing arts programming. Artscape is produced by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts. Attracting more than 350,000 festival-goers annually, Artscape features a full schedule of performing arts including live concerts from national, regional and local acts on multiple outdoor stages and a wide variety of opera, theater, street theater, classical music and jazz performances.  Additionally, the festival showcases visual artists from the Baltimore region and beyond through an artists’ market, outdoor & indoor exhibitions and an extensive variety of local food and beverage vendors.  Admission is free.
