“AMERICAN ROAD TRIP”

INTERNATIONAL JURIED ART EXHIBITION NYC  January 20 – February 19, 2016

 

Site:Brooklyn invites artists to submit work that imagines or documents the American road trip. Open to all Artists working in North America.

 

This is a juried exhibition for artists working in all two dimensional media, painting, photography, printmaking and mixed media.

 

We are fortunate to have the highly respected, Erik Hougen as the juror for “A Road Trip”. Erik Hougen, Artistic Director/Master Printer at the Lower East Side Printshop. Hougen is an artist, educator, and printer. Together with Brad Ewing, owner of Marginal Editions, an independent Print Publisher. He has exhibited at The Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, Bronx Museum, IPCNY, The National Arts Club, and Sugarlift. He was the Artist in Resident at Kunsthalle Galapagos, a SIP Fellow at the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, an artist in Residence at Brooklyn Art Space, participated in the Artist in the Marketplace program and is an Artist Consultant at NYFA. He lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.

 

Site:Brooklyn is dedicated to exhibiting a wide range of emerging and midcareer artists. The gallery invites artists, curators and writers to engage in lively exhibitions, criticism and the exchange of ideas through art, reflecting our times and shaping our culture
