The largest scale rendition of Alloverstreet yet features a wide range of openings and events at Gallery CA, Area 405, Ballroom Gallery, Penthouse Gallery, La Bodega, Labbodies, Terrault Contemporary and more, with a central reception held at Area 405’s outdoor loading dock. Alloverstreet is a night of simultaneous art openings and events taking place on and around the 400 block of E. Oliver Street between Greenmount Avenue and Guilford Avenue.

In celebration of School 33 Art Center’s Annual Open Studio Tour on October 10th & 11th, Alloverstreet: East Oliver Street Art walk was held on Friday, October 9th from 7-10pm. Alloverstreet is a night of simultaneous art openings and events spanning the many art spaces of East Oliver Street in the Station North Arts and Entertainment District.

This month’s event was packed and marked the opening of two new projects that are both located at the Copycat building: Ballroom Gallery, an art space directed by Reed Monson, Hannah Leighton, Trace Byrd and Caeli Carr-Potter and Lighthole! an environment dedicated to showcasing new media work in Baltimore curated by Victor F de M Torres. This Alloverstreet also featured special pre-events including: a celebration of the new Greenmount West Community sign at the Calvert/Federal Park and a Station North Happy Hour for their Community Supported Art Program at Penn & Quill!
