Sarah’s Hope: The Baltimore Public Art Commission and the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts in collaboration with the Baltimore City Department of General Services and St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore is seeking local and regional artists to create an art installation for the newly renovated Sarah’s Hope building that will work with the exterior elements of the building and grounds. The artist will work closely with the design team, St. Vincent de Paul and the Public Art Commission to design an integrated art installation as part of the proposed site improvements. The artwork should enliven the gathering spaces, and may reference the historic character of the building and history of the Sandtown-Winchester Community. Local or regional professional artists or artist teams are encouraged to apply. The deadline for applications is Friday, August 21, 2015. For more details and to apply online, click here.
