Bmore Music Picks is a weekly feature that highlights shows, concerts or events to check out in Baltimore and the surrounding area. Thursday, May 14th – Ray Wylie Hubbard
Creative Alliance, 3134 Eastern Ave. at 8:00PM

Often considered one of the Texas outlaw country legends, Hubbard is a songwriter’s songwriter and everyone should consider it a mighty treat that he’s coming to Baltimore for such an intimate show.

Saturday, May 16th – Roddy Radiation (of The Specials) / The Scotch Bonnets / Three Lexington Arrows
Metro Gallery,  at 8:00 PM – $12

Roddy Radiation of the legendary ska band, The Specials, is playing some solo shows this spring with Baltimore band, The Scotch Bonnets. I’d buy tickets ahead of time because this show could sell out.

Sunday, May 17th – Blacksage / Sweepstakes / :3lon / Goste / Jacob Marley
The Crown at 9:00 PM  – $12

Sweepstakes will hit you with dreamy, surfy synth pop and Blacksage are a vexing mix of pop and electronic. This is a must-see show for a Sunday night.
