Thursday, January 22nd* – Ed Shrader’s Music Beat / Yonatan Gat / Paperhaus / Post Pink

OK, so I got so excited about this show that I thought it was last week. It is, indeed, THIS Thursday night at Metro Gallery. When there is a killer lineup like this one you have to seize it. Paperhaus are on the verge of releasing their highly anticipated debut album and Ed Schrader is….well, Ed Schrader.

Saturday, January 24th – Parquet Courts / Priests / Horse Lords
Ottobar, 2549 N. Howard St. at 9:00 PM – $12 (get tix here)
Of all the nationally-known bands that have come through Baltimore in the last year, this might be the show I’m most excited for. Parquet Courts put out two killer albums in 2014 and one of my favorite local bands, the experimental rock band Horse Lords, are opening. All that for only 12 bucks on a Saturday night? I’ll take it.
