Bmore Music Picks: Baltimore Music, Concerts and [...]

As always, when I go to these things I find so many works of art I want to buy! Although I did purchase only one, these are the pieces I would have bought if I had won the power ball last weekend. They are listed in no particular order.

Under 500 is an annual benefit hosted by Maryland Art Place in December. It’s a first-come, first-served opportunity to purchase affordable and original works of art. The event featured the work of Baltimore and surrounding area artists at a price point of $500 or less. Anything you purchased during the event on Friday, December 12 could be taken home that night.

The event was an opportunity to mingle with other artists, collectors, patrons and general art enthusiasts with an open wine and beer bar, along with light tastings with a holiday twist.

I missed the Friday night event, so I stopped by on Saturday, December 13 to check out the remaining works for sale, as part of a district wide Bromo Arts Holiday Hike!

Artists: Milana Braslavsky, Matthew Moore, Michael Schiffer, Bart O’Reilly, Mike McConnell, Ali Seradge, Aaron McIntosh, Michel Anderson, Dana Holgerson, Yoshi Fujii, Claire Girodie, Jessica Van Brakle, Hoesy Corona, Victor Torres, D’metrius Rice, Katie Duffy, Angela Arrigo, Tiffany Jones, Geoff Grace, Karl Connolly, Gerald Ross, Gary Kachadourian, Jill Fannon, Stephen Towns, Ben Levy, Jennifer Coster, Ryan Syrell, Kelly Walker, Rebekah Kirkman, Jeffrey Kent, Nate Larson, Cara Ober, Amy Boone-McCreesh, Ada Pinkston, Jan Razauskas, Jay Gould, Valerie Smith, Matt Bovie, Stephanie Barber, Dan Perkins, Matthew McLaughlin
