Thank You, City of Baltimore!!
I just got word that the Bmore Art Blog was awarded a 2009 Creative Baltimore Fund Presenting Grant! Sweet!
While one might suppose that bloggers are well-paid and funded, I have to burst the bubble – bloggers make no dough! We do what we do because we love it and that is the only reason. Getting a nod of recognition from the city is an amazing affirmation and assists, in a very real way, to continue this kind of work. I am feeling the love today.
I am very happy to say that the Bmore Art Blog has been partially funded by the Maryland State Arts Council, Mayor Sheila Dixon and the Baltimore Office of Promotion and The Arts. Yay! Yay! Yay!
